Backstory to Colossians
The city of Colossae was located in Asia Minor (western modern Turkey)
Colossae lay in a fertile region known as the Lycus valley. Its neighboring cities were Laodicea and Heirapolis. It was about 100 miles east of Ephesus and the church there was started by a man named Epaphras during Paul 2.5 year stay in Ephesus
